Lisa is a former friend of Shane Dawson. Lisa is actually Shane's girlfriend. Lisa is a different kind of YouTuber. Well, I don't know if you want to say different, but she... She's a lot funnier than some of the YouTubers, lets put it that way! Lisa does "Dare Wednesday" videos, "Super Scriber Fridays", random vlog videos, and so much more.
Lisa got asked some random questions comediva.com. Here are the questions and her answer>
Lisa's Interview
Q: What's your favorite cupcake flavor?
A: I'm a glutard. I can't handle the excitement of gluten. So no cupcakes for me. It's tragic, I know. And don't try to tell me that I can have gluten free cupcakes. Have you tried them? They taste like someone chewed up cardboard and then regurgitated it into my mouth. I'll pass. Wine is my favorite cupcake.
Q:What or whom inspired you to pursue a career in comedy?
A:My family. I grew up in a home full of neurotic Jews. Comedy just came natural, second to guilt. We always had Seinfeld on, and laughed our way through awkward family events. When there was a problem, we'd panic, obsess over it, and then laugh. Quickly I realized if I could make people laugh, my awkwardness would be accepted. And so became my lifelong journey to mask my weirdness as cleverness.
Q: If Chuck Norris were to corner you in an alley and challenge you to a duel, what would be your weapon of choice?
A: I'm a lover. Not a fighter. I'd kindly smile at Mr. Norris and ask him why he needs to use violence. And then suggest he try yoga to relieve the fire within. Then I'd take his weapon, sell it on eBay as memorabilia at a high cost, head to the local bar, and yell "Drinks on Chuck Norris tonight!" Now that's badass.

Lisa's Life:
Lisa was born in Tarzana California. Lisa grew up with her mom, her dad, her brother, and a dog named Max. Lisa tried fitting in. She tried sports, and failed at it. She tried ballet, and failed at it. She tried art classes, and failed at it. Then she collected cabbage patched kids, and loved it. She eventually found her way to the stage and was in a theatre production of Peter Pan. "As soon as I hopped out on to the stage, I knew I didn't want to be anywhere else", Lisa says. She went to a small elementary school and was known as the sweet, nice one. Lisa explains, "I was the golden child". Fourth grade came, and Lisa started to hate school because of her teacher Ms. Swope. She pretended to have stomach aches just to get out of class. "Just when I thought I wanted to tie the tether ball rope around my chubby little neck, Brandi Midtalk walked into class. She was a transfer student, and also the coolest fourth grader I have ever seen. She was bad*ss and way mature. And after a few weeks, I got to be her best friend! Together we discovered boy crushes, chat rooms, and prank calling. We spent every minute together. And I learned from her to not give a [thing] about what anybody thinks." In seventh grade, Lisa left Brandi and her elementary school behind and moved to a preppy school. As time went on, Lisa got a lot of friends, but she also got a lot of bullying pointed towards her. Lisa had a bullying situation with a guy she liked. A few weeks later, he called her fat with her friends and made her self conscious about her weight. At home, things weren't the best either. Lisa's parents would fight a lot more often than not. Many nights, she would find herself with her ear up against her bedroom door listening to them fight. Then listening to her dad leave. Then listening to her mom cry. "Then id crawl into bed and cry myself to sleep," Lisa says. Her dad would always be back in the morning, and her mom was always smiling, but she knew in her heart that everything was not okay. Just to be happy, Lisa stayed in the activity she loved best; theatre. Theatre starting being a HUGE part of Lisa's life. In November 1998, Lisa got a call that she still remembers word for word. She found out her best friend Brandi was hit by a car and died. Lisa explains, "I remember falling to my knees. You know the way you see people do it in the movies? How could this be? How could this happen to my friend?" After everyone moved on, as did Lisa, she went to college. after weeks of arriving, she found friends, and she also found her self on stage in all the theatre classes. During college, Lisa got another call. Her parents called her on a conference call, and they told her they were getting a divorce. To avoid that situation, she made a pack with herself and told herself to never go home. During the summer, Lisa got jobs. College was the best time of her life. Graduation came, and she had to go home. Lisa packed her stuff, went home, and found her home vacant. Her brother had moved, her mom had moved, her dog had died, and it was just me and my dad living in what felt like an old frat house. After college, Lisa hit rock bottom. Eventually, Lisa left home and got an apartment in Hollywood. She began to eat healthy, exercise regularly, and continue to work with a therapist. She even started a childrens theatre. Lisa auditioned for the Fine Brothers, and they eventually changed her life. She met a boy named Shane Dawson. The Fine Brothers encouraged Lisa to do YouTube, so she tried it! YouTube changed and saved Lisa's life. "So, here I am now. I have the best friends in the whole world, a job I couldn't have even dreamed of, a functionally dysfunctional family who has extended and grown together. We even all celebrate holidays together. A boyfriend who was once just that Shane Dawson fellow, and a puppy! And all of you, my new friends. My support team. My little bugs. Thanks for being apart of my life."
Lisa had a life of ups and downs, but YouTube really saved her. If it wasn't for her fans to watch her videos... she doesn't know where she'd be today. I, myself, am so happy Lisa found YouTube. I'm really happy YouTube saved her. If you want to see where I got the information for Lisa's Life, here is her DRAW MY LIFE - LISA SCHWARTZ.
